From July 1st to 3rd, The DelPlata Green team participated in the International Climate Conference "Latin American Commitment", a key event on the road to COP30 that brought together more than 120 Latin American leaders to discuss strategies to address the climate crisis.
For three intense days, Córdoba became the regional epicenter of climate dialogue. Governors, mayors, specialists, representatives of international organizations, and civil society worked together to outline a roadmap. that prioritizes cooperation, innovation and environmental justice.
Three days, six key axes
The debates and panels were organized around major challenges facing the region:
- Day 1: Climate and Gender
The unequal impact of climate change on gender was analyzed, and public policies with an intersectional approach were presented. The importance of empowering women and diverse groups in climate action was highlighted. - Day 2: Green Economy, Financing and Biodiversity
The panels addressed climate finance mechanisms and impact investment strategies. Successful environmental conservation experiences were shared, highlighting the role of coordination between the public, private, and civil society sectors. - Day 3: Energy Transition, Artificial Intelligence and the Social Circular Economy
Clean technologies and the potential of AI in environmental management were discussed. The circular economy model with social inclusion was also highlighted. In parallel, the Latin American Pact Mayors' Forum was held, consolidating climate commitments at the local level.
Córdoba as a strategic node
At DelPlata Green, we celebrate the continued consolidation of Latin American climate leadership through these events. The conference left a clear message: It is possible to build sustainable solutions if we unite capabilities and wills.
