Requirements for listing a carbon credit project
If you'd like to add your initiative to our network, we'll ask for the following information:
Project title and descriptionWe want to know what it's about, where it's implemented, and how it contributes to reducing emissions.
Project type: It can be renewable energy (solar, wind), forestry, waste treatment, among others.
Detailed location: Country, full address and geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude in DMS format).
Amount of carbon credits generated per year.
Price per credit: Expressed in US dollars.
Official Registry: It is essential that the project be registered with a recognized standard such as Verra, Gold Standard, among others.
Project ID: For example, VCS 1234.
Responsible company: Name of the organization that developed or manages the project.
Estimated duration: How many years is the project expected to continue generating certified credits.
Project images: At least two photographs, one of which will be used as the main image.
Technical document: This may be a monitoring or verification report containing the main details of the project.
